Obituary

Elisabeth (Thresher) Scharlack, of Brookline, MA died at age 69 on Monday, January 5, 2015, surrounded by her family and close friends.

She was the beloved wife of Ron Scharlack and devoted mother of Jeremy and Dan Sharlack as well as the Loving aunt of Martin and Paul Thresher.

Consummate teacher and continuous learner, she joyfully gave of herself to family, friends, Wellesley College, Newton North High School, and the MFA Boston. She was a passionate gardener, avid traveler, and lover of art.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Wellesley Centers for Women Fund; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; or Primary Source.
